Build your coaching skills to develop colleagues and teams through our online programmes
Our coaching programmes have been developed with our partners Learning Organisation UK and Dr Neil Suggett Coaching. Neil was a major contributor to the National College coaching research project. This collaboration brings extensive experience of coaching both in schools and multi-agency environments.
Two programmes are available:
Getting Started with Coaching
This two week course has been designed as an introduction to coaching skills and also allows participants to become familar with learning in an online environment. Working in small groups, with an experienced facilitator, participants learn essential coaching skills.
Cost: £ 50 (plus VAT) for two week course.
Developing Coaching Skills
This eight week course builds on the introductory course and supports participants as they develop their skills as well as helping them to establish an effective coaching strategy for their specific setting.
Participants on the programme follow a structured, facilitated online learning experience and undertake four practical coaching assignments. Maximum use will be made of video extracts, podcasts as well as valuable downloadable online resources for study and reflection.
Delegates will work in online groups of around 10 people to share experiences and learn together.
The units in the programme are developing coaching skills, coaching approaches, coaching in school and coaching teams.
